Dear Readers,
It is hard to believe we have reached our Endless Summer issue and the final Sea Isle Times of the 2026 season. It has been a wonderful summer in Sea Isle City, filled with beautiful beach days, busy streets, familiar faces, and so many of the traditions that make summers here special.

In 2012, Reenie and the late John Kropp of West Chester, Pa., began vacationing in Sea Isle City with their daughter Colleen and their son Jack. Jack is differently abled and uses a wheelchair.

And that’s a wrap! Another summer season is in the books. We’ve certainly enjoyed our share of sunny, steamy, spectacular days, but I’ll say what I say every year at this time: September is simply the best.

Members of the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol who helped save Tara Himmelreich’s life on Aug. 10, 2025, were honored during the City Council meeting July 28. Mayor Leonard Desiderio presented plaques to EMTs Eric Greensmith, Mike McCormick, Matt Pytel, Tim Quinn and Dan Stearne, senior guard Grace Gehman, and junior guard Avery Lasky.

Rachel White and Jack Sullivan became engaged July 24 on the 81st Street beach in Sea Isle City, the town where the two first met. Rachel, from King of Prussia, Pa., is the daughter of Joe and Jean White.
