WHITE-SULLIVAN ENGAGEMENT

Rachel White and Jack Sullivan became engaged July 24 on the 81st Street beach in Sea Isle City, the town where the two first met. Rachel, from King of Prussia, Pa., is the daughter of Joe and Jean White. Their family used to summer in Avalon, but eventually switched to Sea Isle City and moved to a house on 84th Street. Jack, from Drexel Hill, Pa., has always vacationed in Sea Isle with his parents, Bill and Jen Sullivan, who own a house here. Rachel and Jack met in 2020 as co-workers at Uncle Oogie’s. Rachel now is a nurse and Jack is a fire protection sprinkler designer. The night Jack proposed began with dinner at La Finestra, followed by a walk to the beach, where he popped the question. The wedding planning is now underway.
