COLLEGE GRADUATES


LUKA GRDINICH
XAVIER UNIVERSITY

Luka John Grdinich, the son of Greg and Toni Grdinich of Sea Isle City, graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati. He graduated with two degrees: an Honors Bachelor of Arts in philosophy, politics and the public, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics with a minor in history. Luka, who played rugby at Xavier, is interested in attending law school or pursuing an MBA. A graduate of Bishop McHugh and St. Augustine Prep, he credits all his teachers for giving him such a strong foundation to build on and a love for education and service. This summer he plans to watch as many baseball games as possible … Go Phillies!


MATTHEW MORETTI
COASTAL CAROLINA UNIVERSITY

Matthew Moretti, the son of Colleen and Rick Moretti of Sea Isle City, graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in business marketing. During his time at Coastal Carolina, Matthew was the head manager for the men’s basketball team for all four years. He also enjoyed playing golf in Myrtle Beach and Conway, S.C., where Coastal Carolina is located. He had a wonderful experience attending school in the South and having nice weather most of the year. This summer he will work in Sea Isle while starting his job hunt with plans to move to Philadelphia or the surrounding area in the fall.


BEN WILEY
ROWAN UNIVERSITY

Ben Wiley graduated with a master’s degree in STEM Education from Rowan University. He is the son of Gretchen Bischoff of Sea Isle City, and Domenic Wiley of Northfield. Currently a teacher, Ben attended Rowan for his undergraduate degree in biology. This summer, he will return to his job as an Avalon lifeguard and enjoy a family trip to Italy.


GRACE WILEY
UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE

Grace Wiley graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a minor in mathematics, and a concentration in aerospace engineering. She is the daughter of Gretchen Bischoff of Sea Isle City, and Domenic Wiley of Northfield. During her four years of college, Grace was a member of the club swimming team, club track and field team, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the society of women engineers. In celebration, Grace and her family will travel to Italy this summer. She also will start her job hunt and enjoy some down time on the beach. Future plans include graduate school to pursue a master’s degree in aerospace engineering.
