MIKE’S SEAFOOD RUN/WALK, A HIT AS ALWAYS, HAS A SURPRISE PARTICIPANT

On Feb. 11, he’s in a luxury suite at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas with Taylor Swift, among others. Six days later, Jason Kelce is participating in the 16th annual Mike’s Seafood Run/Walk for Autism in Sea Isle City.

GRANT AWARDED FOR PROMENADE IMPROVEMENTS

Sea Isle City will receive a grant of nearly $2 million for improvements on the Promenade, its concrete and asphalt boardwalk that runs parallel to the beaches from 29th Street to 57th Street. Funding for this project is from the state’s $100 million Boardwalk Preservation Fund established by the American Rescue Plan program.

D’INTINO GRADUATES TO PRIVATE FIRST CLASS

T.J. D’Intino, of Sea Isle City, graduated One Station Unit Training (OSUT) on Feb. 22 at the Army’s Fort Moore post in Georgia. OSUT combines basic combat training with advanced individual training. D’Intino is now a Private First Class and will begin his next stage of training.
