Focused on wholesome ingredients and vibrant flavors, this new spot brings a fresh, healthy option to Landis Avenue.

Lisa and Jim Freeman are excited to join the Goodness Bowls family by opening its new Sea Isle City location this summer. Goodness Bowls, which has eight other locations in the Delaware Valley and Jersey Shore, features a menu filled with smoothies, açaí bowls, wraps, toasts, salads, and coffee.
“Sea Isle has always been a special place for our family,” Lisa says. “We have a home here on 50th Street, and our kids have grown up spending their summers in this community. We love the energy of the town, the people, and the lifestyle. Bringing a healthy, feel-good café concept to the shore felt like a natural fit.”
As a family of athletes, the Freemans have always appreciated clean, energizing food options. They have known the founders of the company for years, since their daughters grew up playing club field hockey together.
“Over time, we’ve watched them build an incredible brand centered around high-quality food, positivity, and community,” says Lisa. “Whether it’s a smoothie, bowl, wrap, or salad, it’s food that fuels you and makes you feel good.”
Lisa, a Philadelphia native, comes from a large Italian family with deep roots in the Jersey Shore. She and her husband have four children, who all play or have played collegiate sports. She spent more than 32 years as a teacher in Philadelphia and the Great Valley School District. After recently retiring from teaching, Lisa is excited to pursue her passion for hospitality while building relationships within the Sea Isle community.
Goodness Bowls, set to open on Landis Avenue in June, will have daily hours of 7am-5pm.
