Whether you’re refreshing your wardrobe or just browsing, Sea Isle City’s retail stores are must-visit spots for fashion finds in the heart of the community. The latest addition to the local retail scene is turning heads with a fresh selection of women’s and men’s clothing. Global Pursuit recently opened its second location on Pleasure Avenue and is a welcome addition to the community.

The mother-son duo of Angela and Sam Marsh recently opened their second location for Global Pursuit at 4000 Pleasure Ave., a space formerly occupied by Kiwi Boutique. The flagship Stone Harbor location opened in 2009 on 96th Street and they are excited to expand to Sea Isle City this summer.
“We knew Kiwi Boutique, whose location we have taken over, as a thriving, lovely women’s boutique with a DNA complementary to Global Pursuit’s,” says Angela Marsh. “When Milissa Walters, the longtime owner of Kiwi, put the shop up for sale, we thought we had the experience to take up its stewardship. Indeed, though we’ve changed its name to Global Pursuit and added a men’s department, we aim to maintain Kiwi’s character. We’ve maintained all of Kiwi’s brands and hope to similarly serve its longtime customers.”
As a graduate of Wildwood Catholic, Angela Marsh, née Visalli, grew up in North Wildwood and though she’s lived elsewhere, the South Jersey shore was always home. She purchased Global Pursuit in Stone Harbor in 2009 when her two children, Ben and Sam, were 16 and 14, respectively. They joined the family effort, and Sam still works for Global Pursuit today.
Says Sam: “Global Pursuit has always been a small, local, family-run business with proud roots in the South Jersey shore, and we’re thrilled to be joining the Sea Isle community.”
The store carries men’s and women’s clothing along with a variety of accessories. On the women’s side, Global Pursuit has maintained all of Kiwi’s brands including Free People, Z Supply, Marine Layer, Pistola, and Saltwater Luxe. As Philly sports fans themselves, they have also added Eagles and Phillies apparel from 47 Brand and Mitchell & Ness to the store’s offerings. The store is also happy to offer a men’s section, which features clothing from Johnnie-O, Marine Layer, Chubbies, and TravisMathew.
Global Pursuit is currently open Fridays 11am-5pm, Saturdays 10am-5pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm until Memorial Day weekend, when the hours will expand to be open daily through the season.
