Kelce Beach Bash Snaps Record

Annual ‘Shore Birds’ Event Raises more Than $1 Million for Eagles Autism Foundation

In what has become one of Sea Isle City’s most anticipated summer traditions, Eagles great Jason Kelce held his Shore Birds fundraiser on June 25 and 26 to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation. And this year, he shattered records doing it.

The fifth annual Team 62 fundraiser kicked off on Wednesday with beach yoga in the morning, a family-friendly event at Excursion Park in the afternoon, and a raucous guest bartending event at The Ocean Drive for happy hour. It was capped the next day by a wild Beer Bowl at the Sea Isle City Yacht Club. Once again, the philanthropic extravaganza brought a flock of green-clad fans, madcap energy, and pure generosity to town.

While lines started to form at The OD at 9am the first day, Jason and Kylie Kelce were at Beach Yoga, and then Excursion Park, before finally arriving to greet the huge crowds at the Ocean Drive with a star-studded roster of former and current Eagles such as Brandon Graham, Cooper DeJean, Landon Dickerson, Beau Allen, and Sydney Brown, with special appearances by Big Dom (Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro) and Jason’s father, Ed. At The OD, the crew poured drinks, posed for photos, and rallied the crowd in true Philly fashion.

Kelce’s annual fundraiser has grown from a grassroots gathering into a massive charitable effort while maintaining its fun, laid-back spirit. And whether an activity was peaceful, kid-friendly, or alcohol-fueled, every moment was designed to raise both awareness and dollars for autism research and support.

“This is more than just a fundraiser,” said Ryan Hammond, executive director of the Eagles Autism Foundation. “It’s a community coming together to show support and make an impact — and Jason and Kylie Kelce continue to lead that charge with so much heart.”

For their part, Jason and Kylie Kelce were filled with gratitude. "We would like to thank everyone who graciously contributed to this year's record-breaking Team 62 at the Ocean Drive fundraiser," they said in a statement. "The growth of this event over the past five years is a testament to the generosity of Eagles fans everywhere and their ongoing commitment to the global autism community. A special shoutout to all the current and former players and celebrity guests who showed up to make the event so special for our supporters. To collectively raise more than one million dollars in under a week for such an important cause is truly inspiring and serves as yet another reminder that Eagles fans are the greatest in the world."
