The tri-state area’s favorite pretzels are now available in Sea Isle City. Philly Pretzel Factory hosted its ribbon-cutting ceremony on the Promenade with the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization before the Fourth of July holiday. Owned by Caryn and Ken Durling, the duo selected this location due to its proximity to the beach for their second Philly Pretzel Factory.

“We own a Pretzel Factory in Abington, Pa., and when Ken and I retired to Sea Isle we found it was missing this dynamic business,” Caryn Durling says. “We are both business people by trade, so we thought we’d borrow our son Joe from the Abington store for the summer since he loves the beach and to surf and Jet Ski, and let our daughter Jules run the Abington store while we gave this one a try.”

The Durlings opened their Abington location three years ago after spending more than 30 years in professional business roles related to financial services. The couple love to travel, walk, sit on the beach and read books, but they also love to entertain and feed people, so opening a franchise was a no-brainer.

Philly Pretzel Factory Sea Isle offers its popular figure-8 pretzels, pretzel rivets (bites), mini hot dogs, cheesesteak rivets and now cinnamon/sugar rivets. Pair your favorite style pretzel with one of several dip choices and a frozen lemonade while you enjoy a walk on the Promenade this August. The business also offers beach delivery and home delivery to Sea Isle and Strathmere properties. The store is open Sunday through Wednesday 10am-6pm and Thursday through Saturday 10am-8pm.
