“The Turn of the Key” by Ruth Ware

If you liked “The Woman in Cabin 10” and “The Lying Game,” you are going to love Ruth Ware’s newest novel. Rowan Caine wasn’t looking for this particular job, but it sounded just too good to be true. A live-in nanny with an outrageous salary, how could she pass it up? Right from the start, she falls in love with the family and their home. But what seems like a dream quickly turns into a nightmare when Rowan finds herself in prison, awaiting trial for the murder of a child. Through letters she sends to her lawyer, Rowan tries to piece together everything that happened. The job and the children were nothing she expected and, while she admits she wasn’t the perfect nanny, she isn’t a murderer, either. But then, who is?
