Memorial Day Ceremony

Join Mayor Leonard Desiderio and the City of Sea Isle as the City hosts its annual Memorial Day ceremony. The mayor will be joined by local and county officials to honor the fallen during the ceremony that will include speeches and prayers for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Boy Scout Troop 76 will lead attendees to the JFK Boulevard beach for a special tribute to honor the nation’s Naval deceased. Members of the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol will row floral arrangements beyond the breakers and send them adrift in honor of those who left us too soon.

9th Annual Joe Walsh Memorial 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

Players 18 and older are invited to participate in this annual three-on-three double-elimination tournament. Signups begin at 9am the day of the tournament and games will begin at 10am. Teams can also sign up in advance on the Facebook page. The cost to participate is $60 per team and teams can have up to four players. All proceeds go to Minding Your Mind. Registration required.

Green Fair

Spend the morning at the annual Green Fair! This event highlights and demonstrates ways to reduce, reuse and recycle. There will be a tree giveaway, demonstrations on recycling, and vendors.

Full Moon Beach Yoga

David Farina Men’s Basketball Tournament

Join the Sea Isle City Recreation Department for this annual five-on-five tournament. Teams of eight-man rosters will play in this double-elimination tourney. The cost to participate is $150 per team and all players will receive jerseys. Prizes will be awarded to winners.

Peyton’s Promise 5k Run/2k Walk

Dedicated to Sea Isle City resident Peyton Laricks, the entire Laricks family invites you to participate in the annual Peyton’s Promise 5K Run/2K Walk. All proceeds from the event benefit the Peyton’s Promise CDH Research Fund at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Register online, on the day of the event beginning at 9am. Following the race, a family-friendly after-party will be held at Paddy’s Green.

Corpus Christi Procession

All are invited to join members of St. Joseph Church for its Corpus Christi Procession. Following the last Mass of the day, the congregation and the public are invited to join the procession from the church to the Promenade at 44th Street and head toward the gazebo before ending at Excursion Park for benediction.

Sea Goal Cup Hockey Tournament

Participate in this one-day hockey tournament sponsored by Hey Day Athletic, featuring coed six-on-six teams vying for the Sea Goal Cup. Registration will begin at 8:30am. The cost is $325 to register a team (ref fees included). All teams receive a Sea Goal Cup Tournament shirt and are guaranteed three games. Members of the winning team will be presented with a championship long-sleeve T-shirt and trophy. Sign up online.

The entire family will enjoy Skimmer Festival Weekend in Sea Isle. Browse a variety of craft vendors spanning the Promenade beginning at 9am and check out the entertainment and amusement rides at Excursion Park from 10am-4pm. Grab a bite at the Skimmer Food Court with a variety of food options, take photos in the photobooth, check out the facepainting, balloon animals and more.

Skimmer Antique Auto Show and Parade

The perfect way to spend Father’s Day with your dad! The Skimmer Antique Auto Show will feature a variety of antique cars to peruse on the Promenade. The awards ceremony will begin at 1pm, followed by the Antique Auto Parade at 1:30pm. The parade will exit the Promenade from 44th Street and proceed south on Pleasure Avenue to 94th Street, then loop back toward 44th Street on Landis Avenue.

Beachwood at The Dunes will transform into a runway to showcase summer styles from Sea Isle City businesses. Enjoy a night of fashion, cocktails, and door prizes. The event is free with a cash bar.

Sea Isle City STOMPS Cancer 5K Run/Walk

Registration is now available for the ninth annual Sea Isle City Stomps Cancer 5K and Family Walk. The event raises funds and awareness for Bringing Hope Home, an organization established in 2008 to provide “Unexpected Amazingness” through financial and emotional support for local families dealing with cancer. Following the race, everyone is invited back to the Oar House Pub for a postrace party featuring awards, food, music and more.
