CAROLINE BYRNE
UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
Caroline Byrne, the daughter of Neil and Ellen Byrne of Sea Isle City, graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London. She received her bachelor’s degree with honors in politics and international relations. She is currently working at Manning Gottlieb OMD as a client assistant, working in advertising for Specsavers UK, and hopes to one day transfer to the charity sector and work with LGBT+ rights groups in Eastern Europe. Caroline was part of the LGBT+ society committee for two years: transgender & nonbinary representative, then president.


ELIZABETH BUCH
THE COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY
Elizabeth Buch of Sea Isle City is graduating from The College of New Jersey with a degree in sociology with honors in education, sociology, and theater. Her honors include Theater Kappa Delta Pi, Alpha Psi Omega, theater honors society, Alpha Kappa Delta sociology honors. The daughter of Michael and Colleen Buch of Sea Isle City and Robin Johnstone of Galloway, Elizabeth will return to TCNJ this fall to complete a master’s program in deaf education with a special interest in early intervention. Elizabeth was the vice president of the college’s Deaf Hearing Connection, and a member of the all-female TCNJ Treblemakers a capella group.


HANNAH IANNONE
UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE
Hannah Iannone, the daughter of Arthur and Lisa Iannone of Sea Isle City, will graduate from the University of Delaware with a double major in fashion merchandising and apparel design. In college, Hannah made the Dean’s list every semester, was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, served on the executive board for the Fashion and Textiles Club, and studied fashion abroad in Paris. Hannah also participated in the Synergy Fashion group’s student fashion show and completed an internship with celebrity shoe designer Ruthie Davis. Hannah is looking forward to spending her last summer in Sea Isle City helping at her parents’ Sands Department Store and going to the beach before heading to New York City in the fall to begin her career as an assistant buyer for Burlington.


LINDSEY PANE
FLAGLER COLLEGE
Lindsey Pane is graduating from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla., with a degree in business social entrepreneurship with a concentration in sustainability and historic preservation. The daughter of Fred and Liz Pane of Ocean View, Lindsey was a member of Enactus, which does entrepreneurial-based projects that help the community. She also was a member of the Public Relations Student Society and Ancient City Road Runners Club. In addition, Lindsey was working with Pie in The Sky Community Alliance of St. Johns County, a community alliance that delivers fresh produce to low-income seniors. This summer, Lindsey will work for the Stone Harbor Beach Patrol, then prepare to travel since she is looking into joining the Peace Corps.


ISABELLA STEELMAN
ATLANTIC CAPE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL
Isabella Steelman is graduating from Atlantic Cape Community College with her associate’s degree and then graduating from Ocean City High School. Isabella took extra classes when the pandemic hit, and she was able to skip her junior year of high school. Isabella is a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society in the Alpha Delta Mu chapter at ACCC. She also is a recent recipient of the Metropolitan Business and Citizens Association Scholarship Award that was granted to 13 high school students in all of South Jersey. Isabella will be attending Stockton University in the fall as a junior and will be majoring in economics and pre-law while minoring in literature.

CARMEN CONTI
OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL
Carmen Michael Conti, the son of Carmen and Nicole Conti of Sea Isle City, will graduate from Ocean City High School. Carmen played football and golf throughout high school. This summer he will work on his father’s commercial fishing boat. Carmen will be heading to Kutztown University, where he will continue his football career as an offensive lineman.


BRETT HERITAGE
OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL
Brett Heritage, the son of Jamie and Brian Heritage of Sea Isle City, will graduate from Ocean City High School with distinguished honors. Brett was on the surf, swimming, and lacrosse teams throughout his high school years. Brett was also a member of the Italian American Club, Latin Club, Spanish Club, Interactive Key Club and an Honors Society member during his time at OCHS. This summer, Brett will continue working at Heritage Surf and Sport and teach surf lessons. He plans to attend The College of Charleston in the fall.


MADDIE KEEFER
OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL
Maddie Keefer, the daughter of Matthew and Nicole Keefer of Sea Isle City, will graduate from Ocean City High School with the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and as a member of the National Honor Society. Maddie rowed on the crew team all four years of high school and will continue her rowing career at the Jacksonville University.


MADISON MAJORS
OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL
Madison Anne Majors, the daughter of Anne Majors of Philadelphia and the late Keith Majors of Dallas, will graduate from Ocean City High School. A member of the National Honor Society, Madison competed in track and field and soccer all four years of high school. She was also the vice president of the class of 2022 for three years, and a member of Key Club and the Leadership Club. She has worked at Basilicos Ristorante for five years and now also works at O’Donnell’s Pour House. Madison will be attending Virginia Wesleyan University in Virginia Beach, where she will continue her track career as a shot putter.
