Jason Kelce Puts the Fun in Fundraising: Celebrity Bartending Event at the Ocean Drive is a Huge Success

The beer-chugging contests began at 9am. The fundraising lasted all day long. And the Ocean Drive was THE place to be on Wednesday, June 28, when Eagles five-time All-Pro center Jason Kelce hosted his 3rd Annual Celebrity Bartending Event to benefit the Eagles Autism Foundation. Raising more than $380,000 (and counting), the event showcased Sea Isle’s continued dedication to fun and fundraising for autism.

What began as a simple guest bartending fundraiser in 2021 reached “New Heights” this year. A marathon day for Kelce and the whole crew at The Ocean Drive, festivities (and crowds) started building from the time WIP SportsRadio began broadcasting from Paddy’s Green at 6am. By 9am, Kelce set the tone for the day by crushing an on-air beer-chugging contest, as a packed crowd of Eagles fans cheered him on.

An hour later, Jason and his brother Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs’ All-Pro tight end, recorded an episode of their popular podcast, “New Heights,” and a wild 1st Annual “Beer Bowl” inside The OD. (Streaming now on YouTube.)

By the time the Celebrity Bartending Event kicked off at 4pm, the line to get in coiled around The OD and down several blocks. Finally, from 4-8pm, Jason Kelce and a gang of Eagles players served drinks to the packed crowd, led E-A-G-L-E-S chants, took selfies, participated in more beer-chugging contests, and most importantly, raised loads of money for the Eagles Autism Foundation that provides advocacy, research, and support for autism.
