Sea Isle City Swim Club? Absolutely! This is a very rare color aerial of the swim club from its opening summer. It was a project of Freda Development. Located on Landis Avenue between 63rd and 65th streets, the club officially opened on Saturday, June 27, 1959. There were three pools: an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a diving pool, and a children’s pool. Family memberships permitted up to seven persons to use the club and everyone needed to wear a club tag in order to swim. ¬The cost to construct the swim club was $147,000.
